For Professionals

Somewhere responsible to refer.

Therapists, rabbis, treatment professionals, interventionists, clinicians, coaches. People trust you. They come to you when they don't know where else to turn — and increasingly, they are asking about alternative healing. Tikkun Ha'Nefesh is somewhere responsible to send them, and a network for practitioners who hold themselves to the same standard.

An independent referral

The right next step may be Tikkun. It may also be somewhere else.

Our job is not to put everyone into one of our programs. Our job is to help someone understand what kind of support makes sense and, whenever possible, connect them with the right person or place — a therapist, a psychiatrist, a treatment center, a coach, an integration specialist, or an outside practitioner.

Referring someone

What your referral enters.

  1. A complete process

When you refer someone to us, they enter through Tikkun Path: Intake & Screening, Preparation & Support, Integration & Endurance. They are held throughout.

  2. Clinical guidance

Faith Niece, M.A., LMHC, LMFT, CSAT, CMAT, provides our clinical framework and guidance. We screen every participant before placement.

  3. Torah alignment throughout

Every healer has been evaluated against our halachic vetting standard. Rabbi Yosef Sonnenschein provides rabbinic and halachic guidance. Spiritual integrity is built into every placement.

  4. You stay in the loop

With the participant's consent, we keep referring providers informed throughout the process.

Four steps

How to make a referral.

  1. Contact us to discuss the individual's situation — no identifying information is needed at this stage.

  2. We advise on fit and, if appropriate, give the participant access to our intake assessment.

  3. Our clinical team reviews the assessment and follows up with the participant directly.

  4. With consent, we keep you informed as the process unfolds.

Joining the network

Are you a Torah-aligned healer?

Whether you are a licensed practitioner, an experiential facilitator, or a healer working outside conventional frameworks — if you are committed to doing this work with integrity and cultural sensitivity, we want to know you.

Joining the network is more than a directory listing. We make active placements — every one carries our name. We evaluate every applicant across six dimensions.

  1. Clinical competence

Demonstrated training, supervision history, crisis protocols, and informed-consent practice.

  2. Ethical grounding

Clean professional history, active peer consultation, and a practice built on transparency.

  3. Halachic sensitivity

Genuine understanding of our three principles and willingness to adapt practice accordingly.

  4. Cultural humility

Experience with religious or traditionally observant communities. Sensitivity to gender preferences and community dynamics.

  5. Mission alignment

Belief in the integration-first model and willingness to work within our three-phase container.

  6. Ongoing accountability

Active status requires telling us of any complaints or concerns. The relationship is ongoing, not passive.
